- Established a partnership between Asteroid Mining Corporation and University at Buffalo by organizing
meetings between the CEO of Asteroid Mining Corporation and UB professors
- Created tests and failure criterion for prototypes, as well as determined optimal manufacturing methods
- Compared material and design failure to determine optimal configuration and reduce cover failure while
maintaining flexibility
- Wrote a patent application and rendered the design in Solidworks CAD software

- Utilized origami principles to design a flexible cover from two dimensional materials
- Compared materials to determine the optimal material for the cover
- Designed and fabricated electronics mounts to maintain axial symmetry and interchangeable mounting
systems for the gripper
- Optimized camera mounts to reduce the weight of the robot
