  • Established a partnership between Asteroid Mining Corporation and University at Buffalo by organizing meetings between the CEO of Asteroid Mining Corporation and UB professors
  • Created tests and failure criterion for prototypes, as well as determined optimal manufacturing methods
  • Compared material and design failure to determine optimal configuration and reduce cover failure while maintaining flexibility
  • Wrote a patent application and rendered the design in Solidworks CAD software

  • Utilized origami principles to design a flexible cover from two dimensional materials
  • Compared materials to determine the optimal material for the cover
  • Designed and fabricated electronics mounts to maintain axial symmetry and interchangeable mounting systems for the gripper
